A network of sustainable businesses in the South Downs set up to encourage responsible visitors to enjoy England's newest National Park.
This online group has been created in order that business and organisations can discuss sustainability and share best practice. We also hope that these discussions are of interest to the wider South Downs community, so if you have any comments or questions about our topics of discussion, please start a discussion thread in the main forum.
If you want to contact any of the our members please do so through the messaging function. You can also contact Katharine Hale, at the South Downs National Park Authority. Email: katharine.hale@southdowns.gov.uk
If you work in a business in the South Downs and would like to join the forum, please contact Katharine.

Comment by Judith Ralph on February 11, 2012 at 15:59 Thank you for your 'kind words' Katherine - and thank you SDNPA (?) for the funding help, which finally pushed us far enough to go for it! Now we wait and see if it makes a difference to bookings...
..but most importantly it concentrated our minds more than ever on sustainable practices, and 'spreading the word' - we have a perfect opportunity to do so through our guests, and will develop this as we progress.
It would help (enormously) if we had a bus service! Especially one linking at least Midhurst with Haslemere / Pulborough trains....
ps. tonight's guests are on the first day of their SDW cycle ride.... we have the fire laid (with our own wood of course...) in readiness !!
