Here is a photo of fish found in the river Ouse, just downstream of Lewes in later June 2014.

Does anyone know what it is?

Hi Victor,

It's a mullet, probably Grey Mullet (Thick-lipped) although possibly a Thin-lipped, as they also occur in the Ouse.

Best Wishes, Neil

There was a confirmed salmon in the Arun at Pulborough a few weeks ago. Dead, but still identifiable. That's good news.
