The Meon Valley Trail is a 12 mile long disused railway line, running from West Meon to just north of Fareham.

It is currently used by walkers, riders and cyclists but it is not well known and is little used.

Hampshire County Council working with the South Downs National Park Authority believe there is potential to improve the Trail and to create a high quality resource for families and local people to enjoy.

Yvonne Hosker from Walk England, is undertaking research on our behalf and would like your opinions for improving the Trail

A survey to gauge peoples opinions can be found here https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Meon_Valley_Trail and is open until 17th December.

If you haven't already done so please let us know what you think.

Glad this has been identified Nick .... believe most of the bridges and tunnels are still intact but unfortunately cuttings often used as rubbish dumps. Bats might like the tunnels .... think a Circus used one for Winter Storage. !

Ex railways easy going for Mobility Scooters .... John
